Job Description

The Digital Product Specialist (DPS) supports the sales and technical implementation of BERMAD’s digital products in the U.S. irrigation market. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, distributors, and operators. The DPS serves as the primary technical resource for digital products, providing support to Regional Sales Managers and distributors, and ensuring successful installation, troubleshooting, and training. Occasional travel is required for site visits, presentations, and exhibitions.

Responsibilities

1) Develop and execute the sales plan for digital products, ensuring alignment with market needs.

2) Enhance the product portfolio and support systems to meet customer requirements.

3) Train and certify dealers nationwide to provide first-line support for digital products.

4) Deliver presentations and training sessions for internal teams and external partners.

5) Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and installation supervision.

6) Analyze competitor activities and pricing; recommend marketing strategies to penetrate new markets.

7) Identify market trends and propose product improvements and solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in technical sales within the irrigation market; familiarity with control systems and flow meters. Ability to work independently and travel as needed. Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, from field operators to engineers. Professional presentation and training capabilities. High integrity, self-motivated, and results-driven.

Preferred Education and Experience

Preferred (not required): Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Irrigation, Water Engineering, Soil and Water Sciences, or a related field.
