Job Description
The workshop is at the technological forefront of the factory and provides answers and solutions to all technical problems requiring research and development. The role includes lathe and milling work, providing technical support to the following departments: marketing and sales, application engineering, field service, and the testing lab; handling malfunctions in the field, both in Israel and abroad, mainly with products in the development process; maintaining direct consulting and support relationships with subsidiaries and sales agents worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Machining for development parts (milling + turning)
- Performing inspections and matching the product to catalog requirements
- Identifying faults in new and existing products
- Supporting the transition from development to production
- Building prototypes
Qualifications
Love for the field and the technical domain, good learning ability, independence, initiative and motivation beyond what is required, the ability to work systematically and in an organized manner, meeting tasks on time and at the required quality, good communication with people, teamwork, and service orientation.
Preferred Education and Experience
Education: Mechanical Technician / Practical Engineer. Advantage for holders of forklift and bridge crane licenses.
Experience: Hands-on work experience, assembly, technical person.
Experience in conventional milling and turning – a significant advantage.
Languages: Good level of English (reading)
Computer skills: Ability to work with computers and OFFICE software, advantage for those with basic programming skills
