The BERMAD 400Y is designed for flow control in deluge, pressure control deluge, remote on-off, monitor remote control, pre-action systems, pressure reducing and pressure relief. Certified and approved to the latest fire protection standards, It is excellent for all fluids used in fire protection systems, from fire-water supplies to foam solution, Seawater, foam concentrate and other corrosive liquids.
The BERMAD FP/FS-400Y Torrent valve is designed specifically for the fire protection industry, with an emphasis on rugged reliability a for 25 bar/365 psi with an industry-leading flow rate. It is equally suited to vertical or horizontal installation and is available in pipe diameter sizes from 1½” to 16” (DN40 to DN400).
Under fire conditions, the BERMAD 400Y-2MC Deluge Valve opens in response to the Solenoid Valve being activated by the detection devices. The 400Y-2MC Deluge Valve latches open, allowing water/foam to flow into the system piping. The integral Pressure Reducing Pilot Valve keeps the outlet pressure from rising above the preset level.
Under fire conditions, the BERMAD 400Y-3UM Deluge Valve opens in response to the Solenoid Valve being activated by the fire and gas control system. The 400Y-3UM Deluge Valve latches open, allowing water to flow into the system piping.
The BERMAD 400Y 3DC Torrent Deluge Valve reacts immediatly to the heat or smoke detection devices allowing foam-water solution into the system piping and to the foam solution dispersion appliances. The integral pressure reducing pilot ensures a precise preset and stable downstream pressure.
