How to Commission and Calibrate a Pressure Reducin...

This video shows the commissioning and calibration of the BERMAD 720 pressure reducing control valve installed in-line with a BERMAD 794 shutoff valve. Both valves are shown installed in a pressure reducing station equipped with upstream and downstream isolation valves an in-line strainer and pressure gauges. This configuration is designed to reliably and accurately reduce a higher supply line pressure to a lower consumer line pressure regardless of fluctuating upstream pressure or flow rate. If consumer line pressure rises above a pre-set maximum the BERMAD 794 shutoff valve will close the consumer supply line. Thus the shutoff valve prevents the excessive pressure from entering the consumer pipeline until corrective action has been taken. Once closed, the shutoff valve will trigger a limit switch to alert the relevant authority to implement corrective action

This video shows the commissioning and calibration of the BERMAD BC-720 pressure reducing control valve installed in-line with a BERMAD 72S-H pressure reducing emergency backup or "watchdog" valve. Both valves are shown installed in a pressure reducing station equipped with upstream and downstream isolation valves, pressure gauges and an in-line strainer. This configuration is designed to reliably and accurately reduce a higher supply line pressure to a lower consumer line pressure regardless of fluctuating upstream pressure or flow rates. As a safety feature, the station includes a "watchdog" emergency backup valve, normally dormant and fully open and that will quickly enter into a pressure reduction mode if the consumer line pressure rises above a pre-set maximum value. As soon as the "watchdog" valve enters into operation a limit switch on the valve will be triggered to alert the relevant authority to implement corrective action.

In this video, we describe the commissioning and calibration of the BERMAD 720 pressure reducing control valve, shown installed in a pressure reducing station equipped with upstream and downstream isolation valves, pressure gauges and an in-line strainer. This configuration is designed to reliably and accurately reduce a higher supply line pressure to a lower consumer line pressure regardless of fluctuating upstream pressure or flow rates

In this video, we show the commissioning and calibration of the BERMAD 720 pressure reducing valve and a BERMAD 73Q relief valve. Both valves are shown installed in a pressure reducing station equipped with pressure gauges, upstream and downstream isolation valves and an in-line strainer. This configuration is designed to reliably and accurately reduce a higher supply line pressure to a lower consumer line pressure regardless of fluctuating upstream pressure or flow rates. This station includes a pressure relief valve to relieve pressure spikes that might occur in the consumer supply line.

How to Commission and Calibrate a Two Stage Pressu...

This video shows the commissioning and calibration of the BERMAD 720 pressure reducing control valve installed in-line with a BERMAD 720-PD constant ratio pressure reducing valve. Both valves are shown installed in a pressure reducing station equipped with pressure gauges, upstream and downstream isolation valves and an in-line strainer. Use this configuration to enable the sharing of the load of a high differential pressure reduction between two valves. The primary pressure reduction of the station is achieved by a constant ratio Proportional Diaphragm valve. The secondary reduction by a pilot operated reducing valve to accurately reduce the pressure to the exact requirement. This dual reduction system offers higher reliability and safety, longer service intervals and a quieter operation
