The Necessity for UL429A Solenoid Certification for Deluge Valves

The UL429A certification ensures the reliability and safety of deluge valves used in fire protection systems. This certification verifies that the deluge valves meet the basic requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) safety standards and ensure a high and reliable performance. UL requires that any solenoid valve used with a Deluge Valve shall be certified as per UL429A.
