The BERMAD 400Y-7DM is an elastomeric deluge valve for advanced fire protection systems, meeting modern standards. It operates in an electric-pneumatic double interlock system, combining automatic sprinklers on a supervised dry piping network with an electric detection system.
The valve admits water only when both the electric detection and pneumatic systems are activated simultaneously, ensuring controlled operation and preventing accidental discharge.
An anti-flooding feature is provided by an in-line check valve creating a vented intermediate chamber with a normally open drip check. Optionally, a position indicator with limit switches enables remote monitoring.
