Job Description
Join BERMAD USA as the Air Valve Product Manager and help lead innovation in air control technology across municipal and industrial water systems. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of BERMAD’s air valve product line—shaping product strategies, supporting business development, and ensuring technical leadership in the American market.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic roadmap for BERMAD’s air valve product portfolio in the US market.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for air valves in support of sales, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Analyze market trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities and product enhancements.
- Guide the product lifecycle from concept and design through to launch, post-launch support, and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with R&D and global counterparts on feature development, certifications, and localization.
- Provide technical input and content for training, sales tools, and product documentation.
- Participate in industry events, webinars, and customer presentations as a technical representative of BERMAD’s air valve solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge in hydraulic systems, water distribution, and air valve functions.
- Minimum 5 years experience in product management, engineering, or technical sales within the waterworks or valve industry.
- Proven ability to bridge technical, sales, and marketing teams in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
- Self-driven, with the ability to manage complex projects across global teams.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Experience working with AWWA standards, municipal water utilities, or infrastructure engineering firms.
- Familiarity with CAD, hydraulic modeling tools, and valve sizing software (e.g., BERMAD AIR).
- Previous experience in international or cross-cultural engineering/product roles is a plus.
