“Y” Control Strainer

The “Y” Strainer with a Stainless Steel or Monel filter screen is used in all BERMAD Water Control Valves, including Deluge Valves, Preaction Valves,
Pressure Control Valves, Monitor Valves and Remote Control Valves.
The “Y” Strainer is typically located at the pressure supply or in the priming line to protect the control trim components from suspended particles or debris.
The “Y” strainer is available in in a selection of materials and sizes, suitable for general conditions to harsh offshore seawater conditions.
