Priming Block Unit

The BERMAD PBU model is a monobloc unit that integrates a restriction orifice, a non-return valve, and a strainer into a single, compact device. This device is designed to be utilized at the priming inlet of water control hydraulic valves.
The restriction orifice can be of the fixed type or the adjustable type (shown in cross section) that includes a needle valve with a tamper-proof cap.
The strainer element of the device is equipped with a fine mesh filter, which efficiently captures any debris and assists in safeguarding the integrated check valve, the orifice, and all other debris sensitive accessories in the control trim.
The check valve is an integral component that maintains pressure within the main valve control chamber and effectively prevents false opening of the main valve. It is designed with a spring-loaded mechanism and features a soft seat, which facilitates a dependable and secure shutoff seal.
