Bộ giảm áp suất tác động trực tiếp có thể điều chỉnh của BERMAD được vận hành bằng một màng ngăn phản ứng với áp suất, nhằm đạt trạng thái cân bằng giữa lực thủy lực và lực lò xo cài đặt. Model 1”-PRV của BERMAD được chế tạo từ vật liệu composite, mang lại hiệu suất thủy lực vượt trội và độ bền cơ học cao. Thiết bị này giảm áp suất cao ở phía thượng lưu xuống áp suất thấp ổn định ở phía hạ lưu.
