Van giảm áp suất nhanh, vận hành bằng thủy lực và điều khiển bằng màng ngăn, có chức năng xả áp suất dư thừa trong hệ thống khi áp suất vượt quá giá trị cài đặt trước. Van phản ứng ngay lập tức, chính xác và lặp lại cao khi áp suất hệ thống tăng bằng cách mở hoàn toàn. Ngoài ra, van còn đóng lại một cách êm ái và kín hoàn toàn, không rò rỉ.
