BERMAD 720-2B Pressure Reducing Valve with Low-Flo...

his video shows and instructs in the procedure for resetting or calibrating the Bermad 720-2B pressure reducing valve with a low flow by-pass. The Bermad 720-2B will reduce a high upstream pressure to a stable lower downstream pressure regardless of fluctuations in flow or upstream pressure, including static no-flow conditions. This valve is designed as a solution for pressure reduction where the variation in flow is extreme, as might be found in municipal water supplies. To achieve this the Bermad 720-2B in effect uses two different sized valves in one unit, offering an ideal compact and cost effective solution. The Bermad 720-2B therefore has two pilots, one controlling the main valve for normal or higher flows and the other a direct acting pilot dealing with off peak very low flows. This instruction includes the resetting of both pilots.

Fire protection deluge system for oil refinery

When BERMAD was tasked with providing fire protection for the Sarpom Refinery in Italy, the best possible system was installed to ensure that in the event of a fire, the systems would instantly kick into action to extinguish the blaze before it gets out of control. See how BERMAD's state-of-art fire protection system ensures the valves will always operate in the event of fire.

Top Pilot – Instructional video

In this video we’ll demonstrate how easy it is to calibrate and maintain BERMAD’s top-pilot valves, series 100 and 200, and to reconfigure them by adding a solenoid or controller.

Tunnel Fire, Deluge Valve

The BERMAD 400Y 3DC Torrent Deluge Valve reacts immediatly to the heat or smoke detection devices allowing foam-water solution into the system piping and to the foam solution dispersion appliances. The integral pressure reducing pilot ensures a precise preset and stable downstream pressure.
